When and How to Administer Naloxone (Narcan®)
Naloxone (Narcan®) is an emergency medication that can save lives in the case of an opioid overdose. Signs of an overdose include unconsciousness or inability wake up, slow or shallow breathing, discolored skin, nails, or lips, and vomiting or gurgling at the mouth. If you think your loved one is experiencing an overdose, please call 911.
